Cassey Locke is a photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Her work explores the ephemerality of people and things.

 

With a focus on the body and mortality she also explores psychoanalytical theories which seek to articulate the meaning and impact of
pre-language experiences.

Cassey completed her Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts at Unitec in 2019, and was awarded the Contemporary Arts Excellence Award in Photography and Moving Image. She is now working towards the completion of her Master of Creative Practice at Unitec.
